Dan is the Principal of SWW 7-12. His office is on the Broadway campus.
He started teaching in Rochester in 1969 at Ben Franklin High School with Adam Urbanski and Ben Franklin, himself.
"The most important thing I do at SWW, in my opinion, is helping SWW to maintain its integrity as a self-renewing
organization, that provides a democratic, constructivist education to our students. I have five wonderful daughters,
three funny grand daughters, and a fantastic wife, who’s also my best friend."

I am the School Counselor for the SWW 10-12 campus.
Jamie has been a part of the SWW community since 2006.
"One of the most important things I do at SWW is help to instill the values of community,
citizenship, hard work, and perseverance." She Works closely with young people and encourages
them to create the destiny they hope to meet. "That is something I thrive on." One of her favorite
mottos is ---"Success is what happens when preparation meets opportunity!" |

Dave Caiazza, teacher/advisor, has been teaching in the RCSD since 1980.
Of teaching at SWW, he says, “It’s great, but it can be tough when it’s my day to hold the roof up!”
He is married and has two daughters. A quote that means a lot to him is from Vince Lombardi:
“Love is what remains of a relationship after all the selfishness is removed.”

Janet has been lucky enough to be part of the SWW community since 2002.
She has taught extended classes in nutrition, gender studies, career exploration, bugs, and medicine.
Raising her students’ awareness about climate change and environmental issues is her passion!
She has lived and worked in Rochester since 1986, has two grown sons, and shares her home with a fat, lazy cat.

Ken has been at SWW since 1990. He is certified in Math and in English
and has served as an extended class adviser, math teacher, and computer resource person.
In 2006, he won a grant from the Fund for Teachers that sent him 9500 kilometers across
Russia on the Siberian Express. He lives in the northwest quadrant of the city together
with his wife, mother-in-law, two cats, two dogs, and four very large, very loud, very talkative parrots.

Mariana is an English Teacher at SWW 10-12. I have been teaching at SWW since 2003.
It is has been my one and only teaching job. The kids are the best! I love teaching poetry, advanced literature,
