SAT/ACT Registration Deadlines - The deadline for the October 25 ACT is September 19. The deadline for the December 13 ACT is November 7. The deadline for the October 11 SAT is Wednesday, September 9. The deadline for the November 1 SAT is Friday, September 26. You can register after these dates, BUT only by paying a substantial late fee.
Tops Scholarship - Are you an employee of Tops or Cumberland Farms? If you are, contact your store manager for additional information about their scholarship program.
College Nights at the Malls - Thursday, September 25, 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. @ Greece Ridge Center, & Wednesday, October 8, 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. @ Marketplace Mall. Please encourage underclassmen to attend.
Common Applications - A number of colleges and universities have gotten together and agreed to accept the same application. Check the poster either on the bulletin board outside of Mike's office or on the bulletin board in the main hallway to see if you are applying to any of the participating institutions. Mike has copies of the Common Application available for your use.
Dental Hygienist, Massage Therapy & Nursing programs @ MCC - Are you considering applying to any of these programs @ MCC? If you are, then your application should be submitted as soon as possible. These are three of the the most popular and competitive programs @ MCC.
College visits - Please see Mike before you make any college visits. You need to be properly prepared before you go.

Financial Aid - CSS/Profile - Does the college you're applying to require that a CSS/Profile form be filed? If it does, please pick up the form from Mike. DO NOT file it before September 15, 2003. If you are going to register on-line, please remember that you or a parent/guardian must have a valid credit card.
SAT II's - Does the college you're applying to require SAT II's? Will they take the ACT instead? You should know the answer to these questions already.
Required vs Recommended Courses - Does the college you're applying to recommend / require certain courses for admission? Do you have them?
Coca-Cola Scholars Program - This is a national scholarship program that specifically looks for the well-rounded student. Applicant must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Go to www.coca-colascholars.org to apply. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY OCTOBER 31.
SAT Web Registration - Do not wait to the last minute to register if you are going to do it over the internet. Both last Spring and this Fall the server went down due to the volume of students attempting to register at one time and you don't want to miss your opportunity to take the exam. Whether you use the internet or the U.S. mail do not wait until the last minute.

Dr. Kenneth Woodward Memorial Scholarship - For an individual that will be attending an accredited institution of higher learning in 2004 with a concentration in medicine. Deadline to apply is September 26, 2003. See Mike for an application.
