In September of 1978, the school community clarified our policy on the use of drugs (unprescribed) and alcohol at the School Without Walls. We believed then, as we do now, that being under the influence of alcohol and other drugs is the same as using those drugs. You can not function as a student should when under the influence of either: you don't belong in school.

The Use or Possession of Any Alcohol or Unprescribed Drugs in Any Form is Absolutely Forbidden and will Result in Immediate Suspension and the Recommendation For Immediate Substance Abuse Assessment. Repeated Offenses will Result in Referral to the Central Office of the City School District. This policy and these guidelines will be followed whenever drugs or alcohol are used during the school day or at school events wherever they occur.
