Want to make a million bucks one day, take this business class. Take it seriously and one day you could be as rich as Bill Gates.

Well, not all of us want to be like Bill Gates, but we all want to live a comfortable life and be financially independent!
So do you want to...
>develop
habits and attitudes about money and the impact it will have for the rest of your life ?
>learn that learning about money is as important as earning it?
>learn that effective money management results from a disciplined behavior, which is most easily mastered if learned early in life?
>gain knowledge of business, economics and finance which are essential to succeed in a capitalist society ?
>develop your leadership skills by learning how the business world operates?

This class will explore the fundamental concepts of business, economics, and finance. First we will study the principles of a free market economy . Then we will examine the financial facts of life that young adults need to know by conducting an extensive research on the internet, reading books, newspapers, magazines, viewing movies/documentaries and bringing speakers from the community. We will also visit local financial/educational institutions such as banks, universities... we will follow current issues and address variety of topics relevant to our theme.

Through class discussions, reflective essays, class presentations and research papers, students wall have numerous opportunities to demonstrate their understanding of the fundamental issues of business, economics, and finance.
