November 12, 2002 Letter to Alumni

Re: Request from Oswego Professor

Gary Buehler, a former teacher at the old Interim Jr. High School, and also former Superintendent at Oswego, Gouvenor and Williamson, NY, is now an Education Professor at SUCNY Oswego. He is a strong supporter of SWW and our philosophy of learning, and would like some alumni to speak at his graduate classes at Oswego.

His classes occur:

  • Wednesdays ,12:30- 3:30 pm, and 4:30-7:30 pm, and
  • Tuesdays, 4:30 - 7:30 pm

Are any SWW Alumni who live within driving distance, interested in sharing your experiences at SWW with his classes? If so, please e-mail me at kruderm@hotmail.com. Gary would like the presentations to occur within the next two weeks, if possible.

This would be a great opportunity to share and interact with folks who have never been exposed to this kind of education. It would also give us the opportunity to win some converts to speak out at the up-coming NYS Legislative Hearings on the impact of Regents Testing on learning and teaching.
